Hello, I’m Sachiyo (Sachi).

My name is pronounced Saa-Chee-Yo.

I am a photographer based in SW Portland, Oregon. I was born and raised in Japan then moved to the U.S. almost seven years ago. I am now raising two young children as I enjoy photography.

I love photography because it reminds me to look for a light even when things in life are not as pretty as I would like them to be. Photography has a power to help us to find a joy in everything, to remind us what really matters, and to bottle up the feelings that you do not want to forget. The warmth, the tenderness, the softness in your heart.

I capture those feelings and the connections between you and your family in a relaxed, raw, and beautiful-as-is way.
